We Offer:
Working Stage Theatre West Hollywood CA

The new play is about the life and times
of the first African-American
Heavyweight Boxing Champion Jack
Johnson.  Ernie Hudson stars in the
one-man show that recounts the racism
and vindictiveness of White America
against a man whose talents went way
beyond the ring.  Johnson was a
musician, raconteur, entertainer, horse
jockey, bullfighter, inventor,  a secret
agent during World War I.  He was an
infamous Lothario who flaunted his
flashy lifestyle in the face of
contemporary mores.  Jack Johnson was
the catalyst for celebrations,
condemnations and deadly riots from all
sides of the racial divide.  Ghost in the
House is directed by Frank Megna.
Top: Richard Gilliland and Joe
Mantegna. Ernie Hudson with his
back to the camera.

Middle: Frank Megna

Bottom: Jack Maxwell

Left: Stana Katic as Cleopatra
and Joe Spano as Father
Thomas Aquinas.

SHPLOTZ! SUNDAY NIGHT IMPROVISATION

-- On Sunday nights at The Working Stage, we assemble some great
players for an evening of improvised discovery. Our goal is to connect
experienced actors and improvisers who don’t normally play together,
and let them jam like musicians. Informal and unplugged, it's always
pay-what-you-can, with proceeds going to a designated charity. With a
different cast every week, special guests have included
Helen Hunt,
Jason Alexander, Dave Foley, Helen Slater
, and many veteran
actor/improvisers.  Join us!
